What a difference a year can make! This time last year, I was embarking on another year of building my business, Wave Marketing, pulling together the final pieces of the plan to launch The Geekettes Club, and getting used to living in my new home in South Eastern Virginia.

Now? I’m working for Dominion Enterprises, managing a marketing team responsible for the marketing of EmploymentGuide.com, WiserWorker.com,CareersinGear.com and HealthCareerWeb.com as well as our new product that will be launching in a few months. Wow! I’ve been very fortunate. Before making the decision to put Wave Marketing in to hibernation, I’d built a nice clientele list, and was doing pretty well, thank you very much 🙂

The Geekettes Club is taking great steps forward . We recently named our Board of Directors, and will be announcing the President of the Hampton Roads Southside Chapter of the Club in the upcoming days. My goal for the Club was to eventually make it a National organization. We are on our way, folks!

I can’t wait to see what 2011 brings. I’m excited about the opportunities, and looking forward to working with some amazing people at my job, and with The Geekettes Club. Thank you for your support in 2010, and I look forward to connecting again in 2011.
